PRODUCT DETAILS
All about Earmuffs, X4A, neon yellow, SNR = 33 dB
The 3M PELTOR X4 earmuffs offer the perfect PELTOR standard combined with an attractive design.
The X4A model features a headband with neon yellow and black cups and an attenuation value of SNR = 33 dB.
Soft, wide sealing rings reduce pressure around the ears and ensure a comfortable fit even during long periods of use.
At the same time, the X4 earmuffs are particularly robust and resistant to moisture and wear.
The generous space inside the cups ensures that heat and moisture buildup is minimized.
The sealing rings, made from a patented, novel foam, also guarantee highly effective protection.
Innovative damping pads and spacer rings in the cups also provide optimal attenuation.
The PELTOR X4 earmuffs with headband have a slim cup design and electrically insulated headband wires.
The 3M™ PELTOR™ X4 earmuffs are used in areas with high noise levels, for example in metalworking, heavy industry, the automotive industry, construction, textile manufacturing, printing, and woodworking.
Matching hygiene kits can be easily ordered and replaced.

What does the SNR value mean?
SNR stands for "Single Number Rating" and denotes the mean attenuation of hearing protection, and thus its average protective effect. The SNR value refers to the average attenuation value of the frequency range relevant to human hearing, from 125 to 8,000 Hz. For example, an SNR value of 30 dB (30 decibels) reduces noise pollution of 100 dB (100 decibels) to a comfortable 70 dB (70 decibels). Hearing protection products should be available starting at 80 dB (80 decibels). As early as 85 dB (85 decibels) over a longer period (40-hour work week), human hearing can be damaged in the long term.
Important: The higher the noise exposure, the shorter the time one should be exposed to the noise!
